I wanted one craw
I could fish all day.

The idea behind AXLE CRAW came from years of fishing craw-style plastics and knowing there were things I wanted to work differently. I wanted better swimming action without giving up the ability to come across thick cover. I wanted the claws to last longer, more plastic around the hook, a longer profile, more secondary action, and colors I had confidence throwing in the water I actually fish.

Instead of accepting those compromises, I started rebuilding the bait around the jobs I wanted it to do. Raised ridges were added to the claws so they catch water and stay active when the bait is swam or flipped, while the underside stayed flat to help the claws ride across pads and thick vegetation. The claw slit was reinforced at its weakest point, and the head was extended so an offset hook has more plastic to hold.

The body became longer and more slender, the smaller appendages were reworked for extra vibration and water disturbance, and the color system was dialed around a simple rule: lighter, more natural, and more transparent as the water gets clearer; darker with a stronger silhouette as visibility drops.

Every part of AXLE CRAW has a reason for being there. The result is the kind of craw I wanted to reach for — a bait built to swim, flip, crawl, and go through whatever was in front of it.
